C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks Through English) is a nine-month, in-person educational program designed for specialists from Central Asia in the fields of economics, energy, and environmental management. The program combines 160 hours of English language instruction with soft skills development—covering negotiation, presentations, and business correspondence—along with networking opportunities and involvement in international projects.
Supported by the U.S. Department of State, the program’s 5th cohort, including POC R employees, will continue through June 2026. Graduates will receive internationally recognized certificates and gain access to new avenues for global collaboration.
On February 14, 2026, a networking event for the 5th cohort was held in Astana, bringing together more than 100 participants from Almaty, Astana, and Pavlodar. Representatives from «PAVLODAR OIL CHEMISTRY REFINERY» LLP included Alexandra Grebenkina, Ainash Majit, Zhanat Sharapidenov, Adlet Sabitov, Aliya Abilkhasova, Anatoly Ilyin, and Temirtas Mayamer.
The event was opened by U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan Julie M. Stafft, who highlighted the importance of English proficiency for international collaboration and career development.
