The company is constantly working on repair and landscaping the territory of the industrial site of the enterprise.
In 2023, 412 trees (spruce, pine, wild apple, birch, thuja, elm) were planted on the territory of Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery LLP.
Supporting the priority tasks of the state to create a green belt around populated areas and ensure environmental safety, in 2019 a Project for landscaping the sanitary protection zone of POCR LLP was developed.
The main objective of the Project was a comprehensive study of natural and climatic conditions, assessment of the state of the environment, the nature of production and its impact, as well as planning a network of green spaces.
The project for landscaping the sanitary protection zone of POCR LLP provides for phased landscaping and care of green spaces in the period from 2020 to 2027.
The plant “white poplar” was chosen as the main type of landscaping; the reason for the choice is:
- powerful biofilter function;
- easy adaptation to local climatic conditions.
As part of the Sanitary Protection Zone Greening Project, it is planned to plant 20,000 trees on a total area of 79 hectares.
The landscaping area is located in the north-west direction from the enterprise, towards the village. Pavlodarskoye and the environmental protection zone of the river floodplain. Irtysh.

In 2023, POCR LLP carried out an inventory of green spaces in the sanitary protection zone (hereinafter referred to as the SPZ).
As a result of the work carried out to inventory green spaces, 19 plant species were identified. Phytopathological condition is good. No individuals exposed to significant stress were found. The causative agents of phytopathologies have not been identified.
